Mega/Monster truck!

That looks really awesome man!!!

Thank you! I’m pretty happy with how it’s turning out.
I got the chassis all blinged out, metal everything! Axles, transmission, driveshafts, links, shocks, center plate, servo holder, rear link mount, and gears. Should be about bullet proof now! Definitely looks pretty.

Well she’s pretty much done! I couldn’t resist a quick bench shot.

Fantastic details. Were those logos from a sticker pack? Or did you print on wet transfer paper?

The decals all came from the ‘72 Chevy racers wedge kit. It’s actually a really cool decal sheet that comes with the kit.

We’ll this thing is completely done, but I’ve yet to give her a good test run. I’ve got 2-3 feet of snow outside so I’ve only ran her around the house. So far I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. Definitely one of my best looking micro’s I’ve built yet. She’s pretty! For now though I’ll leave you with some bench shots with the MT tires.

I found some scale hubs on eBay and just had to get them. I ordered a couple sets, and they finally arrived today! I have to say that they are awesome. I’m so excited to have something more scale than a large nut. It’s one thing that always bothered me about building a scale rig. Here’s a link to them. They also come in black!

Finally got around to cleaning up my bench last night so I thought I’d upgrade the motor on this truck! I installed a 70t 130 PN Racing motor. Not a whole lot faster, but a ton more torque! And the slow speed control is greatly improved. Definitely a huge improvement. And going from reverse to forward will make her do a wheelie now!

what are those tall skinny tires???? looks so cool, but cant find them anywhere

Those tall skinny’s were molded and cast by a member of the forum, MGCrawler. They were made several years ago, so I’m not sure if he has any more. I got a few sets back when he was making them. They’re by far my favorite tires!
