Mamba Micro Pro or Sidewinder V1 on an old sporty?

I'm pulling my Mamba Micro Pro out of my Losi Mini 8ight and figured why not swap out my Sidewinder V1 on my sporty rig for weight savings plus I can mount it under my front 4 link plate or on my front uppers.

But reading Holmes website since I am running a TorqueMaster 35T he does not suggest using a Mamba Micro Pro. Is this because it will get hot too quickly since I am running 3s? Weaker drag brake than my Sidewinder though right?

My rig is pretty heavy compared to most sportys nowadays. I am running a VP Incision aluminum chassis with RR internals, HR case, MIPs, and currently in search of a lighter chassis as I just switched over to D Lux CF wheels and did the XR mod with VP Wraith knuckles and C's. Also steel uppers front and rear with STRC aluminum rear lockouts...and Traxxas aluminum BB's.

So if I had to guess the RTR weight is around 5-6 pounds using an 850mah 3s lipo.
