Beefy! Had a similar setup on my slash 2wd but with the smaller shafts. Held up very well to my heavy trigger finger.

Had another question about your axle tubes, did you shave off that thicker part inside the axle where the screws thread in or what? I want to make something similar for my set, in my never ending quest to make my truck as heavy as possible :shock:

Thanks, as for the axles check the below photo, Imagine the axle isnt modified yet and the alloy part marked in green is plastic, I have cut the part (were the red arrow is) that is smaller in outside diameter on the outer part (marked green) of the axle, the thicker part you mention is on that piece (from the inside) so when you cut it off its already removed. Hope this helps, if you want I can post a new axle before cutting and a modified one. Will try today evening when I get home.
