I bought a Night Crawler with an V1 Unstuck chassis about a month or so ago. I've been going through it making things work better. A bit later a buddy bought his first shafty and it has a V2 Unstuck chassis. I'll have to pay more attention next time we are out with both cars, but I think his chassis allows the motor to be mounted a bit farther forward. My V1 puts it pretty close to the middle about like a Sucker Punch. Anybody have any experience with both chassis and have an opinion if the 2 is actually better?
The car handles well in most situations and if very predictable and stable, but it does tend to want to flip over backwards more than most. It has the Codyboy XR10 mods to the front axle with some extra brass weights on the knuckles and the brass Super Shafty lockouts on the back. I'll probably switch those out for the aluminum version next time I order something from them. I might have some stock plastic ones in the box of parts I got too and could try those to see if a lighter rear end helps. I've been trying different tires to see what works best.
