Losi Baja Rey 1/10th 4WD RTR desert truck

TT let me know how that thing runs in 2w. get a video too. I wanna see. really bad.

and btw, ive only had one battery puff in my times. and it was because it was a higher c rating and a burst rating of 180c and I was running a speedjems 5.5 mod in 4wbuggy. battery got hot, puffed, and went back to normal size the next day. lower c ratings help. it doesn't kill the battery. to quick of draw can kill it. the c rating just slows it down.

Not going 2wd just yet, this is just a prep for the desert season here in so cal as this thing is going to see some heavy use and hopefully will be spending it using it rather than working on it.

bearings lol. all bearings. check em. you know the drill.

That's exactly what I am doing. It was just suppose to be rebuilding shocks and one thing led to another and it ended up in 1000 pieces .[emoji23][emoji1303]

hoping to get some time so run tomorrow or this weekend at least. I will run the batteries and test the balance if I have a failure. Thank you guys. Been in rc a long time and have just never experienced something like this.

are you in Michigan? if so you should take some time and take it to a track!

im racing mine at Washtenaw raceway next upcoming weekend in 4x4 sct. I would like to see another Baja rey at the track next to mine! "thumbsup"

Locker is 100% bolt in part, no modifications needed.

use a different axle, or use a set of green seal boca bearings. I don't think the full torque of the motor will be any different going to just one spot now. if anything is gonna break, I think it will be the locker.

To much speculation, run it till something brakes than fix it! My bigger problem is making some front axles, I don't just want to take front driveshaft off and run the rest of the drivetrain. I want to remove all of it.

I was going to drill out the unis on a set of bent ones I have for that use. yes.. I bent one lol.

I think part of my issue is that I'm using losi sc wheels and tires in place of the stock tires which are a bit smaller and could possibly cause the motor to be too under geared causing motor heat and resistance?
