Decided to make a thread for these since they're going to be mostly separate from the club stuff. Of all the trucks I got for it I decided to keep 3 of them, and here they are.

The one on the left is #4 I believe, and I'm planning on trying out a more period-correct (or maybe just Axial option parts) build with it. The one in the middle is going to be the all original shelf queen of the bunch since it's in the best condition, although I do need to clean it up and fix some things. The one on the right was #1, which I'm going to do a more modern/daily trail rig build with.

I decided to take some of the lights I had lying around and put some rock lights on #1, turned out pretty sweet. The only things I still need to do (for now) are driveshafts, axle trusses (the y-link sucks, I'm going 4-link), and new links. I've already got a new servo, ESC, axle skidplates, and steering links. The next truck I'm going to work on though is #5, as I'm planning to enter it into the Axialfest Concours. I need to clean it up and swap the driveshafts from #1 over when I get new ones.

Went through and stripped #5 down completely and cleaned it.

Started reassembly with the trans, skid, and rails. Within lies one of the only two non-original parts on the truck; an old Novak Rooster ESC. It still works, although it is showing its age.

Ended up going through everything else fairly quickly, cleaned up pretty nice.

Unfortunately the other non-original part on this truck, the Spektrum SRX200 it came with decided to finally bite the dust. I'll just throw a Flysky unit in there to bind it to my GT5, although I do also need to get a front driveshaft since the original is missing. I plan on taking one from #1 or #4 whenever I replace those driveshafts. I'm happy with how this turned out though, I think it'll do well in the concours.
