VoltSCX
Pebble Pounder
Finally got my new Jimny in the mail, can't wait to start messing with it.
This thing actually crawls quite well for what it is, although it is extremely topheavy and the articulation is terrible. The details on the body look amazing though. I do wish that there were more lights, but there are holes to install all of them so that's nice I guess. The full-depth interior is pretty cool.
I had the body off to install an interior decal, and there's a decent amount of stuff under here. The cheap ESC/RX of course, but it is a metal chassis which is nice. The servo is decent too, which was a bit unexpected. The axles look okay at a glance but from what I can tell all of the internals are plastic too so those aren't staying.
For a 1/10 this thing is definitely on the smaller side (SCX3 Wrangler for scale). I can work with it though. Definitely gonna be a fun build, I've got a lot planned for this thing. Anyone got recommendations for new electronics? Thinking about swapping the ESC for an SCX24 one but idk, we'll see.
