Been messing around in the woods at my buddy's place and finally got a chance to slap a gopro on the roof of the yeti for some documentation.

As you can imagine, it pretty bumpy. But you can get the idea of what the woods section is like. Snow has been spotty, but when it was thicker, the chains were really fun.

Hope you enjoy....

The aftermath: running hard in the open field seemed like it would clean the Yeti off a bit.....not so much :)

It really added to the traction when the snow was a little heavier. We will see what happens when the snow gets deeper.

Turns out I cracked my tube frame in one spot. Left side vertical bar clean break. Bummer. Had to order a new frame which includes both sides. Better aim for breaking the right side next time since I'll have a spare :)

The chains are gnarly. I'm surprised they stay on with brushless power. Surely they've stripped out the plastic hex adapters already?

I have the metal hex in there. But the aluminum hubs I have are on the other wheels - so these are the plastic replacements Axial sent for free with the metal hex. I actually had to reseat a bead today on the front and they were fine. I'm geared down a bit from stock too.

HERE is another video from tonight (wish we could post videos here!).

I concentrated on the camera since the dog bone on the driveline to the front axle came out when I had it apart - and I didn't notice it until I got there. Too cold and not enough time for a field fix :)

Hate to admit it but the super geek went down with the snow blower & cleared the entire track during this warm weather session.

Currently ice & mud but who cares, the bashing continues. "thumbsup"
