WOW Landahl Park Trails
what a cool/great spot for R/C scaling fun !!
for those of you that couldn't show,
you missed the best scale run of the year !!
we started out on the rim job trail from the south parking area - 10:30 am.
lots & lots of cool stuff on that trail - rock climbs - jumps - open high speed areas - all the way thru the rim job trail - total 3 miles
jumped on Daves maze trail - total .44 mile,
to the main landpark trail back to the south parking area - total .25 mile
hitting the parking lot at 2:15pm
just under 4 miles,
3 & 1/2 hour run time,
took at least 2 to 3 batteries packs to goof around & run these trails.
we will most definitely have to go back there some time.
vary cool park - we only did 4 miles - out of the 18 miles of trails there !
this place is what a scale run should be,
super long & everything you could want - to crawl on !!
so far the only place where we needed so many battery packs for one trail run !
you all most need to bring a extra rig with you - in case your main rig brakes down - half way into the trail,
is a long way back to the parking lot !
scale endurance event - for sure !
i all so have found some new mountain bike trails - Swop Park MB trails 8+ miles there yet to be discovered - ill be checking those next !!

Sounds like you folks had a blast and got in some exercise in the process "thumbsup" My electronics for the bouncer didn't get delivered until Saturday morning and I was on high alert for some testing being done at work. If something went wrong...I would have had to drop everything and go anyway (it was successful in the end).
"thumbsup" Honestly cant believe we haven't ever gone out there before!
Swope doesn't even come close to Landahl....that and I would most likely be packing this extra tool with me!

but it still looks to have some good trails/rocks there !
theres a KC MO police training facility that the trails runs around !
i don't think there would be any problems around there.
