JIA's IFS KOH Ultra4 Wraith Conversions

Cool. I know there's a lot of questions as to what is needed.

Parts-wise you can think of the entire drivetrain (with the exception of the Exo front dogbones/universals) as a Wraith drivetrain.

The entire front suspension is Exo. If it fits the Exo front, it'll fit this.

The entire rear suspension is Wraith. Same deal here. If it fits a Wraith it'll work on the rear of these. The exception would be 5" shocks are used on the rear.

The chassis/cage and making it all bolt up (and be durable) is where I spend the majority of my time.

My concern was that my Wraith and Exo are both fairly modified, and wanted to make sure they would be useable for the conversion. The only other thing was that I run 3S packs crossways under the hood right behind the dash panel. It looks by the pictures that their are some tubes (possibly from the exo part) that would interfere? Might just be the pictures though. I also use MG200's steel wraith bumper that I would have to modify/replace to work. Thanks for the info and the fantastic build thread. "thumbsup""thumbsup"

They will be usable. No problems there. Wraith driveshafts are what I use and any other upgrades you've done will work with the conversion.

I can vertically place a Thunder Power 5400 3S hard case under the hood, right behind the dash.

You don't have to use the Wraith bumper. Most guys use the Exo front without the Wraith stinger.

It's about an hour of work to use the Wraith stinger. Lots of cutting/fitting/cutting/fitting there.

I've had a few folks contact me about having me build complete, RTR rigs and selling them.

I'll look at what it will cost me to get the RTR Wraith, Exo kit, and build a complete "Stock" IFS rig with 2WS and a rear sway.

I'll also price out an upgraded version with front universals, MIP driveshafts, and HD gears.

By buying local here on the island I can save buyers some money on shipping two kits to the island.

For those of you that would be interested in going this route, let me know.

Depending on the number of people that are interested (and serious) about going this route, I'll look into what it will take to get kits and parts delivered directly to me.

Why is he wearing boxers? And is that why the door is closed?

:ror:

I know you've seen this during one of your visits.

If at some point you have a customer back out or just happen to have one to get rid of PM me please"thumbsup"

I can't see anyone backing out - especially after they drop everything off. First thing I do is cut everything up. :lmao:

Two guys are dropping off all the stuff for #7 and #8 today.

I wonder - can I build two in a day?

Looks like it's a Two-fer Tuesday.

Bronson swung by and dropped off his stuff too.

Building a RTR for 808toys with upgrades from Axial, VP, STRC, and RPM front arms. Power is a Tekin Pro4/Mamba Max Pro combo.

Since he didn't bring a rear axle, the other rig will be a "slider" built from a Wraith cage/skid and an Exo kit for Bronson.

The rig came out awesome, Thanks again for accepting the last minute rushed build."thumbsup" It was a pleasure meeting and working with everyone. Now i have plenty of time to sort out electronics and get the body done. To bad UPS doesn't have a boat. :lmao:

Was nice to meet you and working with you on this.. Hope you enjoy it

808toys picked up his rig tonight.
He got a winch plate, front insert with fairlead mount, firewall, and radio tray.

Put his old panels on for now.
