Jeepsohigh's T1e Berg. "Mr D Sanchez"

Come to the dark side. LOL.. Looking good...
When clipping tires, I started using lexan scissors, and gave up on that quick.
I picked up a set of these, from Checkered Flag if I remember right, and LOVE them. I ordered another set because I use them for clipping zip ties, cutting wire, trimming tires, cutting delrin, just about anything that needs to be cut off.
They work great on tires, because the cutting edges are right on the end of the pincers, so there is little to no rubber left behind after a cut. Perfect flush cuts every time.

These are the other ones I would think about.

Keep up the good work..

Thanks Stu, I will keep them in mind for the future"thumbsup" I ended up using toenail clippers:ror: They worked great BUT holy crap clipping all those little nubs takes forever!!!

I did have a chance to install my new cap I got from Nova on my FXR's. I ended up soldering wires to it so I could mount the cap away from the rats nest. It now fits nicely on my receiver. I can’t believe the noticeable increase in wheel speed now.<?xml:namespace prefix = v ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml" /><v:shapetype id=_x0000_t75 stroked="f" filled="f" path="m@4@5l@4@11@9@11@9@5xe" o:preferrelative="t" o:spt="75" coordsize="21600,21600"> I decided while I had the soldering station hot I would replace my BEC. I don't know if it in my head but I swear the old one was getting week.</v:shapetype>

ALSO: I picked up some Delux titanium lower links in the classifieds from wild mike and finally got around installing them. I now know this was harder then I though<v:shapetype id=_x0000_t75 stroked="f" filled="f" path="m@4@5l@4@11@9@11@9@5xe" o:preferrelative="t" o:spt="75" coordsize="21600,21600"></v:shapetype> Apparently I forgot the CKRC link mounts that come with th axle kit are thicker than stock making my wheelbase a 1/4 inch long. I did have to cut down my stock delrin links down back when I set the axles up but had long forgotten. I can’t really do that with TI links:mrgreen:<v:shape id=_x0000_i1026 style="WIDTH: 11.25pt; HEIGHT: 11.25pt" alt="0" type="#_x0000_t75"> <v:imagedata o:href="http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_redface.gif" src="file:///C:\DOCUME~1\TOUCHO~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\msohtml1\01\clip_image002.gif"></v:imagedata></v:shape><o:p></o:p>

Solution? yup. I took my truck to my buddy Rick at Sniperfab and had him machine the face of the link mounts down. It was a bit of a pain due to having to take my axle tubes apart but once that was done it was a piece of cake"thumbsup"the truck is now a 1/16th under 12.5. Thanks Rick!!<o:p></o:p>

Looking good...so have you decided whether it's going to be Sedonas or pins at ECC yet?

Nope, I have only had about 2 packs on the pin tires. I have had a cold this week so I havent been driving much:cry: I will be driving the rest of the week including a comp saturday at Elephant Rock State Park. This place is very similar to LRC so I will have a better idea on what I will run.

I will have my trusty broken in Donas ready to go just in case:mrgreen:

New tires and wheels are looking good.
Thanks Buddy, see ya Saturday?

I'm glad you like the pics i took for ya! "thumbsup"
Great driving yesterday as always.
I'll catch up to you one of these days. :ror:

Thanks Skip!! you drive a little better every time we get together"thumbsup""thumbsup"

I had a great win at our club comp saturday and did allot of pin tire testing and I am very happy with my new setup"thumbsup"

I should of tried pin tires a while ago. they worked great on slick rock, sidehilled great and were very predictable. I really had to slow down some of my driving BUT after a little bit I was putting down negative scores all day.

here are some pics from the comp.
