Jeepsohigh's T1e Berg. "Mr D Sanchez"

Now if I could just beat Andy.

Lol! I know the feeling. He has been getting harder and harder to beat lately. I'm 3-3 with him. He's like a crawling superman! ECC is coming up, we might have our chance. You hold him down and I'll steal his truck and radio!! :lmao:

Thanks Stu, Im pretty sure im still a nobody....but at least I have some sweet wheels.....

I will call ya soon Buddy:twisted:

I finally got the new tires mounted on some sweet VP wheels. These tires as most you know after using search fuction are a pain in the _ _ _ to mount.

The details.

Front: Vanquish DH front turned down to 1" wide and channeled. Nova closed cell foam inner and 5.25 med outer

Rear: Vanquish V4 1" wide. Nova closed cell inner and 5.25 med outer with med tuning ring.

After a quick search for mounting ideas I found this idea from <!-- google_ad_section_start(weight=ignore) -->ManxCrawler http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/tires-wheels/344958-how-mount-losi-boss-claws-fixture.html to get the job done. I used a old cutting board but the execution was the same.

This worked like a champ.

I am going to start the "clipping" project after work tuesday. After a little research AND talking with my buddy Louis I am going to try cutting every 3rd row out.

These are going to weigh a little less than the Sedona setup I have been running for a year now so I will have to find a new sweet spot with the front weight bias.

They really dont seem to have much of a height difference mounted.

I have to have these done and ready in 7 days for an Elephant Rock comp. This place is very simalar to the ECC comp spot so I want to start getting used to them there.

More to come:mrgreen:

Come to the dark side. LOL.. Looking good...
When clipping tires, I started using lexan scissors, and gave up on that quick.
I picked up a set of these, from Checkered Flag if I remember right, and LOVE them. I ordered another set because I use them for clipping zip ties, cutting wire, trimming tires, cutting delrin, just about anything that needs to be cut off.
They work great on tires, because the cutting edges are right on the end of the pincers, so there is little to no rubber left behind after a cut. Perfect flush cuts every time.

These are the other ones I would think about.
