no problem i'm constantly working on improving my communication. its not exactly one of my strengths ;-)

yessir i believe this is the first one sent to France

There was an issue with machining the spools. some of you guys trying these new spools will have problems getting the bolt holes to line up on the gear. if this is the case please let me know and i will send you a replacement. thx.

I'll have to try mine and see if it fits. Just got it yesterday.

the 4 bolt pattern is symmetrical and therefore incorrect. you can drill the 2 holes if you have the means and that will work great and get you by until i can make up some replacements.

also please let me know if the spool shafts are tight on your gear and CV shafts. some gears are too tight, others are not. i'd like to get your feedback on that. i want to make the shafts a half thou smaller in diameter but without adding any slop.

Okay I checked the spool over. You are right about the holes. They DON'T line up. Not a problem. Not sure if I have a way to drill and tap them but I might be able to take it to a local machine shop. As far as the spool shafts, the gear I have is a stock one and it slides on real nice. Not to tight and no slop. The CV shafts fit real nice also. Hope this helps.

Do you know when you will be making replacements or not to sure yet?

Spider Man give me some package lol

Thx ! now lets build all together

Hope this helps.

Yes it does help thx.

i started on the replacements the moment i realized the screwup.

the next batch (yours) will be made from 300m. another suggestion from Chris.

hopefully they will be done by this weekend.

i would not take that to a machine shop. they will likely charge a $50 minimum.

BM,

When I made my spools, I made the outputs .250. This adds strength to the outputs and the MIP hubs are easily drilled/reamed to .250.

The 300m is gonna be badazz"thumbsup"

Hello Matt

I have a trouble with your new holes for the TRA3743A.

Yes we can adjust but the screw slide in the hole... If I lock it harder It will not be totally free to turn, and with vibrations it's will not stay locked
sorry for my poor english I don't know if you see what i mean ...

I'll make a picture if need and try to find an solution

IMO : At start you have only a tiny hole so head screw cannot slide along the plate, but now you have long hole, i think the best is to make many holes to keep allowing different setup

cool i will take another look at the multi-hole setup option. however you should be able to tighten everything down very well with the slots...:???::???::???: and the slot will give you more adjustability.

What do you means by slots ?

I use the black washer (i have only 2 of them and you have 4 on your pictures)

There some pics of the issue :

Any update on the new lockers?

Any update on the new lockers?

i am told the 300m spools will start machining tomorrow. the old 4130 ones are being redrilled and will be sold at a reduced price as blemishes. hopefully i'll have a bunch of both by mid-week if everyone pulls thru.

sorry but relying on others = very slow and frustrating :x

I find the trouble with my TRX bellcrank ... I was forgoten the long sapcer inside -_- (yes 'im noob)

But every thing is ok now "thumbsup"

There is some pics (I'm waiting news shock dont pay any attention to those one)

Matt You should make an instruction how to build your kit, it'll avoid troubles for new RC users, it's should be on the way right ?
