Ideas for Upgrading Vaterra 1968 Ford F100

Holmes Hobbies Trailmaster Sport motor ( brushed) and Hobbywing 1080 ESC is a pretty standard combo that doesn't cost much. Tuning parameters with this ESC is worlds better than what most stock ESC's offer. No idea regarding suspension unless you're wanting to maybe upgrade shocks.. The Traxxas GTS shocks ( found stock on the TRX4) are decent shocks but not sure if that's something you're looking for or not. Tires... comes down to preference, terrain, etc. I personally like the Proline G8 compound. But what works well for some may not work well for others. Someone that trails in cooler weather on the east coast will probably not use the same tire as someone that crawls in hotter conditions on the west coast. Keep in mind that foams are a big part of nailing down what works well. Fwiw the Proline Hyrax has been a widely used tire for a while now with a lot of satisfied users.. still though... may not be the perfect fit for your particular needs.
