I won it

I think I got something here. These fit the short side and will need to made longer for the long side. I scored them for $20 out of the bargin bin at lhs.

In test fitting these I found that the long shat in my axle is twisted about a qaurter of a turn. Should I worry about this?

Thanks

I've run twin/mad dog bones that have twisted for a long time with no troubles, they may never break or they could keep twisting and snap. I had one twist nearly a full turn and it still ran fine. It's funny what beefcake parts will withstand. Smaller axles just bust. :ror:

I dont have a pic yet but I will explain. I had a small rollover, ok I went off about a 6' cliff. I yanked the screw out of one of the chassis cross members. I also ripped the drive shaft off the axle/pinion. The set screw/pin thingie ripped through the plastic of the revo shaft.

LOL I have no idea how it happend.

Did the chassis brace strip? Maybe drill it deeper and use a longer screw?

Do you have more revo yokes? You need some of those RC-monster yokes I posted in my thread. Mike is making more

Yes its striped out so I need a longer screw, Im going to look today. I have extra revo stuff, I got the 4 drive shafts and 2 short shafts when I bought them. Im going to fix it up tonight. Thanks

Do any of you have a mad force body? Im trying to find the wheel base of it.. I have just decided as a winter project Im going to build a chassis and tube frame and go giant scaler TTC style. Thanks to all of you here I know that I can actualy get enough help and input on a build that I think I can pull it off.. Its not goin to happen as quick as creapy crawler since all the cash I had for that was saved for a wraith..and well I didnt get a wraith but I really cant bitch about that. lol

Thanks

I have to say that tf/mf group here is like actual friends instead of just people and would just like to say thanks for making me feel part of your group.

Here is one idea I have for a winter build.

These jeeps have been over used but I have it. Im actualy looking for some different so if you have any ideas or bodies that you think would be cool, let me see it. I wanted to be at about 16 1/2 to 17 1/2" wheel base. Im going to go see how big the 5t body is today and I was also thinking the losi 5ive t body would be cool since its a muti piece body so it could be kinda cool. Like I said I was to go big and different so help get some good ideas.

thanks

I'm assuming a TF body is the same as a MF, but TF is about 12"

Sounds like a sweet project. Not sure how that jeep will work out with a 16-17" WB, though. I think you need a bigger body. I've got a similar build planned using a 1/6 F350, TF axles and rok lox.

Whatever you build, we'll be there to help (maybe heckle too"thumbsup")

Is that something different?? lol That would be cool. Anyone got $25 they can loan me..lol Im flat ass broke until I get paid and the guy with the checkbook is in italy. I cant do much until he get back to pay me for a job I did for him.

I counted my change out to get that scorpion body.. Its gone.. I hate when that happens. I guess I will have to find something else to get. Im thinking Im going to start looking at the trift stores around here. Maybe something cool will turn up.

After seeing a "Scorpion"...WOW
