How would you look at it ?

So my wife and I have to have to walk everywhere, no car, so one day it was late my wife took off to the store, while walking SHE ALMOST DIED, meaning she almosr got hot by a car, she actually did, grazed her leg.
The guy who was driving was dead tired, he worked graveyard shift and was coming home one , just so happen almost hit her(did) so she ran up to him at the gas station cuz he stopped there, they talked , then he was on his way.
So fast forward a couple he drives by to apologize and give my wife a present that he made with a letter saying sorry, we talked i asked if he learned a lesson , he says yes ! Ok all is forgiven.
So months later comes by and says Frank, I have something that I want to offer you, I was like what, well frank I'd like to give you a CAR !!!!! WHAT?!????!?
Ummm, yeah a f'n car, really, he says God led him/pointed him in that direction to help ??? That's what he felt,
So he asked what's the situation with you, well NO license for like 8 years until he says well Frank ill take you to go get your license , BOOM 2nd test to today PASSED , went to AAA transferred titles got it smogged and technically the whole 9 yards.....
I'm SHOCKED AND AWED with this , how would you look at this ? My brain still is boggled !! Confused !!??
Paying for insurance too !!! WOW !!

So a breakdown....
DMV 55 ,cuz of a ticket that I had go to collections
DMV 35 for the license
760 bucks for 6 month insurance WHAT THE F%CK are you $hitting me(for a 7 year ticket with a suspension) .... All a gift !!!! Maybe a lil guilt from him, but he says NO , ALL GOD, hmmm !

Mind you I had that ticket with a warrant until I paid it last year.
Now just an oil change , and ill have the car tommarow......!!!

Glad your wife is ok and just got a love tap from another man so to speak (Little humor).

Very rare to hear or read these kinda stories. Call it what you will whether he was trying to avoid insurance claim, the guy/girl upstairs was watching, he was paying forward, karma or ??. Everything you wrote makes him seem like a decent human being. He could have been the F-in Bleep who hit and run. One thing i can suggest is that you never forget his kindness or him. Keep in touch whether it is a phone call, a monthly meet up or holiday hello.

As we all know the world today is generally a pretty Sh*tty place with small pockets of awesome caring people.

I can be a royal jerk sometimes cause i speak my mind but do so with respect. But no matter how sh*tty of a day i am having i will always give you a smile, benefit of the doubt and open the door for you whether a man or woman. My last GF's sister used to say you don't have to do that. My response was/is your right i don't but going to anyway. Her husband got pissed because he thought i was flirting with his OL. I just said not true but what is true is that if you did for your wife or anybody else i guarantee your life would be just a little different.

Take care of your wife first, new "friend" and then the Honda. "thumbsup"

Call me a pessimist, but if it seems to good to be true it usually is.

A seemingly (to at least yourself) a complete stranger that knows your wife (however they say they know each other or met) suddenly decides to just up and give you/her hundreds if not thousand or more dollars in cash and a car valued in the thousands all for free with zero explanation....

Hmmmmm..... I can read much into all that.... but again, as inaforementioned, I’m a natural pessimist.

I agree, but girls these days don't seem to understand that. Nor the desire to hold the door open for them or open the car door for them, and those such things. And they think I'm weird because I say that stuff to them. Granted, I am weird, but manners are manners.

When she leaves the home She's as safe as can be ... Walks with pepper spray and a knife ! I make sure she's as safe as she can be ... I only can do so much, I can't stop a car from hitting her, you know ?
