I just purchased my first set of internal beadlocks. I need to vent them. So, I assume I'll need to drill both the internal ring and the rear ring. Can anyone confirm please.

Thanks for your speedy reply DRTMI. They're aluminum and I didn't want to ruin them.

You don't mention what foams you plan on running but if you run closed cell inners you might as well vent the tires since the inners won't breath. If you are running stock foams then carry on with the wheel drilling if it makes you happy.

Yes, that's what I'll do. Stock foams, vented wheels, and no vented tires. Very Happy.

I was the same way the first time I took a drill to new aluminum wheels, now it's pretty much the first thing I do. Also if you do end up getting different foams, CI sells single stage foams, that is what I run because I do not like the closed cell inner foam.

I've never tried closed cell or any other than what comes with the IROK Super Swampers. I haven't done any experimentation with foams. Some say different types of foam should be used for different type tires, I have to believe them because I have 0 experience in that arena.

Thanks for the replies guys.
