hobbyking hakko 936 knock off solder station

I've had mine for almost 18 months, using the tip it came with as well as Hakko replacement tips, and its still going strong.
Checked the tip temp the other day with my infrared temp gun and its still as accurate today as it was when I bought it.
Can't complain about that.

For my 936 knockoff yesterday. Way better then my plain pencil and gun type soldering tools I've used in the past. I didn't realize soldering could be this easy :D

Got mine today, it seems to work well, but as others have said the stock tip is way too small. I found these on amazon 10 Solder Soldering Iron Tip for Hakko Station 900M 933 - Amazon.com

Has anyone used these tips? I'm asking because I dont want to waste $ on tips that dont fit...I did have a Trakpower tk-950 station a few years back and had an extra tip from it, it does not fit this Hakko knock off... but the Trakpower stickers fit perfect...:ror:

I have had mine for 8-9 months and love it! I was using a old 1986 sears soldering Gun... knock off is still knocking out the work like day one!

Maxximus.. it looks like the same tip pack I got and they work/fit like they were made for it.

Hi all, can anyone ha e a look at the back of the soldering station and see if the input Volta is just 110v or 110~240v?

Cheers Andy

Label on the back of the unit states 110VAC. No mention of 240.

I have been using this station for about a year and it has worked real well. I picked up a fatter tip at radio shack for soldering larger wires as the one that comes with the unit is pretty fine. "thumbsup"

It arrived. Knockoff or not it's like a Cadillac after driving a model T for years. Caught up on my soldering.
