Tower now carries Losi.
Makes me wonder if/when Tower will start carrying Traxxas again...

Amazon supports collecting sales tax on all online sales, that should tell you who it really benefits.

For the record this is not true. Its still up to the seller whether or not you pay tax. Only Amazon Services products are required to have tax. Amazon is the best if you are a prime member, people who hate on them must not like 2 day shipping with easy no hassle return/ replace policies....
Its weird that you can order Traxxas from most hobby websites, and Amazon, but not tower.

What is this "2 Day Shipping" you speak of? Been getting 3-4 day shipping with Prime at best... Even then they seem to be pooping the bed lately...
Gawd forbid they use AMZL (Amazon Logistics) or even worse, LaserShip (whatever the hell that is!) for shipping... Those guys make the Post Office look like superstars...
Not at all what I said.
Amazon supports the ongoing legislative efforts to collect sales tax on all online purchase, I said nothing about how they currently handle sales tax.
I agree.Maybe I misinterpreted your comment, I took supports tax as in currently is doing it. Either way, Im a taxation is theft kind of guy, but if were going to live in this socialist mess it makes sense to tax everything and anything they can get their(government) greedy little hands on.
Tower Super Saver Club coupons got worse, overall, this month. I don't think this is the first time they've cut back on the coupons though.
$8 off $48 = 16.67%
$15 off $99 = 15.15%
$30 off $199 = 15.08%
$45 off $299 = 15.05%
$60 off $399 = 15.04%
$75 off $499 = 15.03%
Now they are:
$10 off $70 = 14.29%
$23 off $150 = 15.33%
$38 off $249 = 15.26%
$52 off $350 = 14.86%
$66 off $450 = 14.67%
$84 off $550 = 15.27%
Haven't ordered from tower in ages, mostly because shipping takes ages compared to amain.

No, we don't. We have one or two, but they never have any stock.Do you Canadians not have a good, online hobby shop? It seems everybody in Canada orders from the US.

Odd. Somebody in Canada should start an online hobby shop and profit...
Sadly, that's happening to a lot of old, good hobby shops. Kids don't want to take over so they close up shop.I had a supplier for plastic static model kits who was in Washington, and had both US and Canada stores. Great resource and concept . Sadly sold the store and retired.
Hang up and Drive
its not an easy profit. and it takes awhile to profit. plus, you need at least 300k to start a good hobby shop online or not.
