Hittman's SUDU-One Build

Great way to see the different size of the 400 and 500.
No envy from my side! (Lie Lie Lie Lie Lie!!!)

Got some practice in today. The rig is feeling pretty good.. Honestly a bit front heavy. I've got some delrin knuckles and Ofna shafts.. I need to get them installed! They've been sitting around for 3-4 months:shock:

The 13t 400 puller is awesome. Suuuuper smooth. Still tons of torque and wheel speed. Very happy with the motor change. Mr.Holmes has done it again"thumbsup"

Few posers before I started.

Congratz on your second spot at Worlds Christian! "thumbsup" You are making the DravTech family very proud! 8)

Thanks Samu. Really wishing that I could have held onto that first place spot.. Just blew it in the shoot out. But congrats to Paul, he earned it. "thumbsup"

Great meeting you and some serious driving this past weekend. There was something about worlds with the heat that stripped me of my " I can get along with anyone" niceness I usually have. I knew who I could hang out with and who is rather distance myself from real quick. As quiet as you are, I knew I made a friend when the weekend was done. Keep driving the way you are and in 5 years, people will talk about you the way they speak of the OG crawlers we all go to comps to watch now.

Time to start posting again. My interest in comp crawling is still strong, but my need for posting or looking has faded. Everyone in this community is great. Great people and great environment. I just needed a break.

So after Worlds, a few changes were made to this rig,,

1. The Dravtech printed skid was installed. Very nice little unit. Very easy to install, very nice torque produced from it. Little noisy, and not quite as smooth as I would like, but that falls on the rc4wd gears used, not the printed material.

2. A CustomFiber Des-Troy plate was installed. After driving berg for a year, the benefit of the vertical servo is felt. So I knew I had to do that to this rig. Luckily my good ol buddy Winnerone23 makes a bad ass plate.

So first comp of the season last weekend and I was able to pull off the 1st place win. Right now this rig isn't rocking any weight. I changed my front axle out for some dlux delrin v2 knuckles.. And just never put weight back on. Outperforming the competition at 3lbs 3.8oz is awesome.

Here's a pic from last weekend,,

NMRCC Season is in full swing!

Got a nice present from Dravtech8)

One piece shock/llink braces. More strength, less weight.

Compared to the old two piece.

Streamline now:mrgreen:

2nd comp of the season went well last Sunday. Had some pretty tough courses and the rig handled them just fine. I am starting to get used to this Dravtech trans, so everything is feeling comfortable again. Here's the final scores copied from FB:

Very nice to see this chassis still evolving.... I like the option also of more holes in the rear.. Good work..

Re: Hittman's SUDU-One FL

Good comp yesterday. Rig was feeling really good. Very comfortable with this setup now. All that's left to do is win comps and get ready for qualifiers, states, and worlds.

Scores from yesterday

And the one pic that was taken,, the tumble weed that stuck with me for an entire course.
