K so I know there's tons of info out there on all this but I figured I'd just ask and save me some headache and guessing. I picked up this charger used. What I'm wondering is exactly what connector I need to make this balance board and charger connect to my battery. Like I said sorry I know there's tons of info out there I just want to make sure I'm getting it right instead of guessing and doubting myself. This is my first time dealing with lipo. Thanks for any help guys.

I'm lost. You show a balance board that uses a Deans in from the charger. Your xt60 plugs into the center, your balance lead next to it. Does your charger have a Deans output ?

I'm lost too haha no it doesn't have dean's. It just has the red and black holes (banana plugs?) on the side for the output.

You need the balancing cable too..... https://goo.gl/images/onGBCj

Or just hookup your battery to the charger directly, the board is only necessary to charge multiple batteries at the same time (which requires a very powerfull charger OR a lot of patience)

Ok so if I'm thinking right, I will need male bullet connector to xt60 adapter to be able to hook the battery directly to the charger since I don't need the balance board. Am I thinking right?

Jup, and don't forget to connect the balance lead of your battery to the charger too.

Cool. One more dumb question though haha where do I hook the balance lead to? The only spot to hook anything up is the output bullet connector holes.

Just guessing here. Based on what I see in the posted pictures and looking at the manual on line, I would say you need banana plugs from the charger with a female Deans connector to plug in to the male Deans plug on the "Balanced Charging Plate". Your battery(ies) probably plug in to the XT60 plugs on the charging plate and the balance plug connects to the corresponding JST plug on either side of the XT60 plugs. You may need an adapter wire with a female XT60 plug on one end and whatever connector works with your batteries on the other end, if you're not using XT60s on the batteries. As near as I can tell, the DuraTrax 230 does not have a balance plug port on the charger so I'm guessing everything related to balance charging is done within the "Balanced Charging Plate".

Check this out for the charger
http://manuals.hobbico.com/dtx/dtxp4230-manual.pdf

Probably not a bad charger if only charging one (1) battery at a time as the output is 50W.

By the way. You DO need to balance charge Lipos. Things will eventually go bad if you don't.

Can't seem to find any info on the "Balanced Charging Plate". Maybe someone else can help.

Can anyone confirm any of my thoughts about this system, as I originally said I'm only guessing by what I see.

Haven't read where it has a balance charge function . That means an external balancer( $30.) they work fine. How much you invest in this ?

Like $27 bucks I think. So if I'm understanding everyone correctly, I just need to get the bullet to dean's adapter and the balance cable that chris-nl mentioned and I should be set correct?

I didn't see where a balance cable fits into the charger ?
If no slot, you need one like I showed. I keep that style in my repair pouch next to the temp gun

I don't think so, it should have a display for the cells, looks like it needs a balance cable next to the deans out ?
Quick reading of directions didn't show "balance charge lipo " function ?

Ok so if I understood the video, the balance board I was given with the charger is of no use to me correct?
