HB Rover Review

I changed some shock settings on my Berg with KK 4.0 chassis and went testing again. These tires just amaze me. I am out climbing in some pretty cold weather, about 32* and the tires just grab. I am able to dig uphill, do some pretty insane verts and sidehill great. I am still running the stock foams and I think I will just continue to run them. They work great the way they are, can't ask for too much more.

Running a set here in Colorado, temp is "cold". Running NTT reach hybrid all-weather foam, Very pleased. Still getting used to the heigth of the tire, but am very pleased with performance."thumbsup"

Ditto, except for the Colorado part.
I was running today and am thinking about adding a thin strip around the NTT RHA-W foams in the rear. The rears "crumple" a bit too much. I have to watch the rears on some rocks for fear of tearing from "crumpling" too much on the edges.

Looks like wrightcs77 experienced the same type of issues when the tire gets in a hole it will hang up easier.
The tire grabs but its height makes more of the tire get crumpled or warp around the wheel.

Has anyone noticed yet how the tires are breaking in? Mine have started getting flatter than before when they sit a while. The cold doesn't seem to bother them as much as I thought it used to and traction seems better now with more use. "thumbsup"

Here's some video of the Deimos with some Hotbody Tires. I sure like them, in the video I'm using the stock foams. I like the foam not being tall enough. It allows for more contact area. The ribs on the inside really help to keep the tire from folding under. I tried to wade them up ,but the stock foam puts it back into shape pretty quick.

wow, these tires look promising!"thumbsup" Where would be the best place to pick up a set of these?

Yeah, I'm kinda patiently waiting on these as well lol. I've had an order in at my lhs for about 4 weeks, and an order through TCS for about 3 weeks.. Can't wait to try them out "thumbsup"

Ya I saw Bender with them at our local GTG. They seemed to work very well on that terrain. But they r on backorder for awhile. So no go for me now.:-(:-(:-(:-(
