***HARDKNOCKZ El Nino III***

Thank you for the great write up J.D.

The "Comp Cut" option has been added to web site as an option for the 5.25", 5.5", & 6.0" foam pairs with outers. I have also updated the Foam Parts section as well where they can be purchased alone.

Chances are, if you are reading this, you're addicted to crawling like the rest of us here. So with that said, I'm not making a big announcement about this new "comp cut" option. Those that want it, will find it. I'm working to stream line the foam designs to a one size fits all wheel widths and it takes time to figure out each size because each closed cell inner is a different size.

Thanks for the info Ed. Will be buying some foams here soon."thumbsup"

Wait, what?!? "Paychecks"?!? Shit, I'm in the wrong aspect of this hobby!!

Well if you would show up to some big comps lately...:ror:

Whelp...after the drivers side of my locker got nice & wallowed out AND the shaft bent like a boomerang....I ended up with a -8, +28 & 3 +50's from the DNS's. I know...I COULDA thrown my rig on the start gate to AT LEAST turned those +50's into +40's but at that point...I honestly didn't care. I had fun coaching Bearded's 8yr old to a better finish IN 3 WHEEL DRIVE with my rig & watching that kid literally beam when I told him he just beat me. In my book...thats MY trophy for the weekend. "thumbsup"

Hopefully the pro rig holds out today but either way...enjoying hangin with my crawler family during the day & my real family during the evening.

I can't thank you enough bro, you stepped up big and help make my lil guys day. He was grinning ear to ear. I owe ya one.

Im a dad 1st & foremost & since I spend a lotta time with your kids too...I was just as stoked for him so NO WORRIES on the parts. Im glad he had fun!

What locker?

VP. I havent pulled her apart yet but she FEELS wallowed & after watching the kid bind her up, grab a handful of the HH 13t Crawlmaster...Im pretty sure shes done.

I heard he enjoys handys and cupping

Is that why you guys had to "stop and change a 'flat tire'"?

Could be a safe assumption but he had the "flat tire" before he picked me up at the airport:ror:

Um...Im FAR too tired to think of something clever to say here so I'll leave you guys with this....

Shut up.

M kay pumkins...Daddys MUCHO tired & after having dinner with Paystins, the Cali Taliban or Calibans & my family...Im stuffed to the point of being sleepy...so Im gonna cuddle up with my beautiful wife & go nighty nights.

Peace out RCC.

Happy Birthday Buddy! Glad We got to share in that special moment with you and the "silly" waiter!:lmao:

You guys are gayer than our waiter. Which makes me glad I slipped him BOTH of yer numbers & told him yer stage names at Swingers & the Wrinkle Sacks are Glory Hole & the Flesh Pole. He was VERY excited because he "Looves him some hairy bear buns." His words. Dead serious. Enjoy boys. :flipoff:

Oh please you attention whore, you couldn't have been happier when "lispy" brought over your "birthday sunday" and sat on your lap to sing happy birthday (or whatever version of that song they sung).

BTW- which one of us is Glory Hole cause I've changed mine so many times now I'm confused.

By the way...the boys at Chaotic had Mr.Dlux hand deliver some sweet new swag for myself & Paystin so we could look our prettiest this weekend. I have more tees but theyre still funkay from the 111 degree AZ heat.

Head to Chaotic Crawlers to get your new hats & tees in various styles & flavors!

Well cats n kittens...Our very own mad scientist of the foam world has been at it AGAIN. Eddie over at Crawler Innovations just sent THESE beauties over.

Thats right!!! ANOTHER killer refinement for the comp minded soul that's looking for that edge!

The idea behind this inner foam is basically more adjustability for the end user. Instead of having the single channel of the original Comp Cut inner...you now have the choice of exactly HOW MUCH forward bite, overall center support, lug or pin integrity & sidewall support you'd like from your foams.

In a nutshell...you now have a few options at your fingertips to bring tuning your foams to another level.

You can run these foams straight from the package as seen above allowing your foams that added "give" of the machined channels without sacrificing too much overall integrity...or you can simply grab your lexan scissors & with a few simple cuts, you can remove one of the center "ribs" to give you more forward bite while keeping some overall support & center stiffness or remove BOTH for that extreme tire wad without sacrificing sidewall integrity.

These new CLOSED CELL inners are another VALUABLE tuning tool & as I said above...Eddie has given us yet ANOTHER competitive option with his growing lineup of foams. As always...Eddie has been not only ASKING what we want in a foam but has been working hard & investing in new tooling & machinery to bring those ideas to fruition.

I think a lot of people overlook the REAL value of tuning your foams to your tire, rig, terrain, drive style etc. Even the best tuned suspension will only work so well without the added support of a PROPERLY tuned tire setup.

As of right now...when you order a 5.5" Comp Cut Inner...THESE are what you'll receive. Eddie expects the entire lineup of sizes to be available for purchase around the 1st of July so keep your eyes peeled & vist Crawler Tires, Crawler Foams, Parts and Accessories by Crawler Innovations to up your tire & foam tuning game!!

Also remember...if you go to the Crawler Innovations site & click on the Foam Parts tab or HERE you can purchase each piece of the foams individually. So if you already have the Double Deuce foams but wanted to add just the new style of Comp Cut inners...you can purchase just what you need instead of a whole new pair of foams.

J.D.
