Hannibal 2 - 2021 Bronco build

Well, I got a TRX4 and built it, but then decided to keep the TRX4 for something else (Scattergun v2)... so I’ve ordered a scx 10.2 builders kit for Hannibal and the brake line. Those items should arrive next week. Then the Hannibal build will start...

Following this build! Are those the wheels you'll be using?

Thanks to your size comparison of the Yellow VS Gray Bronco, I went ahead and bought the gray one. It has the perfect wheelbase for Tamiya's CC-01. I went with this over the yellow as I have 3D printable files for one with a 313mm WB and no interior.

No, these are sport TRX4 wheels. Just using these to get the location in the fender well. Not sure what wheels will find there way underneath this yet.

Definitely post a build thread of the gray body build.

I’ve never worked with brazing flat sheet metal before, but I think I will attempt to make the bumpers hybrid with flat steel in the center and tube for the ends of the bumpers.

Something similar to this...

Ordered a NWSD class 1 V2 chassis to replace the stock axial frame rails on Hannibal 2. Also building a NWSD class 2 scattergun V2 trx4 based truck.

Getting the roofline bar equal was a little difficult.. last time I made one of these, my eyes were 11-12 years younger....

I think it came out okay...

I can’t add the tubes at the A pillar until I get my bronco dash from tan wood works (also getting a clear windshield). I’ll have to make sure they don’t interfere with the dash placement.

I will add the additional roof cross bars this evening. This cage is going together pretty quickly.
