Hacked up Newbright TJ (first rig and post!)

The wheels are Gmade 2.2 GT Bead locks (https://www.ckrccrawlers.com/gmade-gm70021-22-gt-beadlock-wheels-2-p-3562.html) and spurred me to get this:
TheToolStore.ca | Hand Tools, Woodworking Tools, Garden Tools, Power Tools which absolutely rocks.
I actually thought yours looks pretty sweet. The problem with mine now is that it's a bit undergunned for crawling so I've gotta upgrade a few parts.

i feel ya about the powerdrill. and i am disappointed to find out that those rims are plastic!

Nice looking Jeep Chubby.

IMO...the Wraith axles with 2.2's look great from the side. Its the front and rear shots that ruin it for me.
Both of you're guys rigs are cool, not saying anything bad about them.

I have a set of Wraith axles and was planning on a 4dr JK build...until i was checking out the view from the front with no fender flares

fender flares and the right offset rims and I think it'd look sick!

PROVE IT!;-)

I think you're right, its hard for me to not cut the flares off though.

I know the NB bodies are larger than this Pro Line but check out this comparison.
(don't get jealous of those bad a$$ Rock Lizards either...I'm waiting on the new PB II's)

Just give'er and do it. I chased Saltinemadness (which is a f*cked up username if you google it :) ) and copied his idea but the rig just goes over so much more with 2.2's and Wraith axles compared to the stock scx10 axles that it's worth a sacrifice in scale looks. All the crawling I do is usually on 4+ hour hikes in the dark on normal hiking trails up mountain peaks here in Vancouver BC and the AR60's are night and day compared to the stock SCX10 gears. No disrespect though, the SCX10 is awesome.
