i support gun rights, but seriously. everyone needs to chill the fawk out about it. if you are an honest law abiding citizen you have nothing to worry about.
if you can't look at the recent events and discuss them without going alex jones on piers morgan, you need to look inside yourself and really figure out why you are so attached to your guns. i respect the 2nd amendment and i practice that right daily, but it seems like anyone who supports guns is so scared of the government that they probably need a mental evaluation and possibly some antipsychotic medication. i realize the squeaky wheel makes the most noise, but even the most calm about it still are crazy. if your guns are worth more to you than the lives of a fellow human being and especially children and don't want to deal with a smaller magazine or a wait time to get a gun, i feel sorry for you.

Its the point that a smaller magazine does not help save anyone.
If a person is limited to say 10 rnds. or like in NY 7rnds then people are just going to stack on more magazines I know i will.
And in a self defence situation most people better hope there a good shot under pressure and only have 2 people attacking,Its 2 to the body and one to the head the way I was brought up .So in NY you have one extra round and in the rest of the country it gives you the chance to take down 3 with no missed shoots.
Don't get me wrong the chances of something like that happening are slim and hell even my new carry gun is only going to hold 7 rnds. and then 2 mags on the belt of course,
But to me its that the gov. should not be making these decisions for the people.And they sure should not be telling us we can not buy or own semi-auto rifles.
And I will say again I can not believe we have a group leading the country and using saving kids as a way to try and push gun control that support the murder of kids through abortion.Its bull Shit in my eyes.

Get your story straight now. Remember ABC just did come out and admit only 4 handguns were used in the attack and the AR-15 he had never left his car's trunk.
That said, those handguns were all LEGAL and even their magazines were very close to the 10 round limit being sought.
MY guns have shot no person, ever. My guns are safe and do not need someone telling me what to do with them. My guns are for me and my uses and since I am legal and responsible, why should they not still be my guns?
It'd be like me telling you you can't own 3S batteries or use a Scaler in the water.
You throw kids in the mix, but there's 1.2 million kids killed every year, it's called abortion. Make some laws there. Like doing something about those who use abortion like birth controll.

This has nothing to do with saving children. If that was the case they would have spent more time talking about it, doing research etc... It's an excuse to push a decades old agenda nothing more. I feel sorry for the people that can't see that and even more so for the ones that are willing to sit down and take it. They've done it before and want to do it again, so yes law abiding citizens who care about their gun rights should be worried and should speak up as loudly as they can.

I'm not a huge Obama fan, but its like his election flipped Americas "crazy" switch and everyone on the right acts like they just walked out of the psych ward without taking their meds.
And in case you guys forget, because you obviously have short memories, every president in the past 30 years has either signed or supported some sort of gun legislation. Reagan, HW, Clinton, and W all signed their name to or publicly supported the restriction of both handguns and auto/semi-auto rifles.
If you think that this is just the Dems, more specifically Obama, that are infringing on your freedoms, you are just as delusional as the worst of them.

Anyone ever been to Oakland? That's gun control at its finest. I've seen bodies dumped in the streets, heard automatic weapon fire ( automatic weapons are illegal in California by the way ) and i have even know people who were murdered for no other reason then the fact they were in the wrong place at the wrong time just doing their job.

Like I stated above, strict gun control would utterly destroy firearms sports. Entire classes of competition would go extinct over night. I do not want to see that. Firearms sports are fun to watch, and fun to take part in.
I work in Oakland and I HATE IT! scariest place I have ever been and one of 3 countys that dose not allow CCW in Cali. Its so bad here that they have military tech in the city tha notifies the police when and where gun shots go off.

That is true if the shot is precise, but I'm not a marksman so I'de prefer a few backups in my magazine "thumbsup". Thats why I prefer our 12 ga., with #8 shot someone will get peppered well, and if that does'nt stop them the 12 ga. slug behind it will and I'll have my aim down by then.
