So I've been all over the RCC Forums for alittle while now with builds like Kyle's Unemployment Wraith (almost finished), A Mini Juice build, a MRC Pro build, and some custom work here and there. I have been wanting to build a Micro Scaler for awhile now and waited for my Wraith to be closer to completion since that's been a big chunk of where my Government paychecks have gone. Now that it is closer I put a thread out for one in the wanted section and A great guy on here named Hittman sold me his. I am so lucky to be so close to where Don has his shop Billet Works Designs so I can get parts and help when needed as he has the parts I need. I got the first set of brass barrel nuts from him along with a set of Wheel wideners. Can't wait to start building. So here is what I got so far.

Micro crawler chassis (from Hittman)
SMC 4.5 Chassis
1/24 Scale Hilux body from Japan (on the way)
HR internal air shocks
HR knuckles
HR C-hubs
HR lockouts
HR main center gear case
Billet Works Designs brass barrel nuts
Billet Works Designs wheel wideners
Billet Works Designs custom wheels (soon to come)
RC4WD Mickey Thompson Baja Claw TTC tires
McMaster Carr 2.0x6mm chassis screws
Fast Eddy bearings
Losi 4x4 driveshafts and micro crawler driveshafts (mod to both coming soon)
Losi all new internals in axles and tranny
I will put in categories when I get more stuff.

All that is needs is the wideners and barrel nuts. You just take off your wheels and wheel hexes and the slide the wideners over the axle pins just like the wheel hexes. Then put your wheels hexes on after the wideners and then the wheels. The barrel nuts are last and replace the wheel nut which slide through to the axle which takes the distance from when you added the wideners. I'm waiting on some more parts to put it all together.

Ok so not done yet but I'm terrible at dropping what I'm doing and taking pics. Built most of the cage and still gotta cut the body out for the Baja Claws.

Guess I'll be following this one, too. Curious to see what those customer wheels are going to look like. Didn't realize BWD was so close to home, either. I think you should definitley try it out with the stock motor and gearing first. Run it for a while that way and then upgrade to the Danally Big Block Kit. Night and day difference! Be sure to upgrade to a 2S lipo, too, when you do that. I ran it with a single cell lipo out of one of my micro helis and it was god awful slow.....slower than stock even. Much better with the 2S in there now! Like a brand new truck!

I'll be buying my wheels & tires shortly. Got some $$$ left from my Mexico trip, so I think that's where I want to put it. Just gotta decide which wheels. I want aluminum beadlocks, but not sure I want the RC4WD ones. Someone needs to make a set of Walker Evans, ATX Slabs, or Monster beadlocks for micros.

I have a couple of 2s lipos already that are super tiny from Dual Sky. Yes that is great advise Shortbus to run the sticker first. I finally got my ESC in so I have enough to run it now just need to have alittle time to build. I have been on the ede of my seat waiting for these wheels hopefully this week I'll get them (hint hint Don) lol I hope to show alittle something different as far as my style we shall see. I finally ran the big bad wraith for a shakedown without breaking anything major whoot whoot lol
I'll be at the table tonight finishing the exo cage for the ford Xmod body.

Hey guys I have a couple of ideas for mounting the model Hilux body but would like yalls tried and true opinions. If you have done a couple voice your ideas please. Also does any company make mounting tabs for the bodies?

Lookin what I've got. Don did a kickass job on these. Match my wraith best for how small they are. Looks like I'll be cutting some more screws.

Also on the way is a SMC 4.5 Chassis and new tranny gears along with two models Hilux and a Datsun. Went to hobby town for a tap and came out with paint, 9/32 aluminum rod (driveshaft mod), and of course the tap.
