Since nobody really knew who I was at the AWCC and I received a few inquiries as to what I was running and where was I from. I figured it was finally time to do an "almost completed" build thread.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

Considering it is still my rookie year driving and this chassis was put together the week before AWCC, I didn't go into the comp with any sort of expectation. I was shocked at how well the rig did! The chassis walked away with a 3rd place finish in Pro. The link geometry really suits the terrain that is common out here in AZ<?xml:namespace prefix = v ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml" /><v:shapetype id=_x0000_t75 stroked="f" filled="f" path="m@4@5l@4@11@9@11@9@5xe" o:preferrelative="t" o:spt="75" coordsize="21600,21600"> <v:stroke joinstyle="miter"></v:stroke><v:formulas><v:f eqn="if lineDrawn pixelLineWidth 0"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @0 1 0"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum 0 0 @1"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @2 1 2"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelWidth"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelHeight"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @0 0 1"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @6 1 2"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelWidth"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @8 21600 0"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelHeight"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @10 21600 0"></v:f></v:formulas><v:path o:connecttype="rect" gradientshapeok="t" o:extrusionok="f"></v:path><o:lock aspectratio="t" v:ext="edit"></o:lock></v:shapetype><v:shape id=Picture_x0020_1 style="VISIBILITY: visible; WIDTH: 18.75pt; HEIGHT: 13.5pt; mso-wrap-style: square" type="#_x0000_t75" alt="http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/images/smilies/thumb.gif" o:spid="_x0000_i1025"><v:imagedata o:title="thumb" src="file:///C:\Users\KOLBYK~1\AppData\Local\Temp\msohtmlclip1\01\clip_image001.gif"></v:imagedata></v:shape>. <o:p></o:p>

Considering I received numerous comments that this rig looks like it got beat with an ugly stick. I decided to contact briansbodies about a new lid.

Finally, I get to see pics of it..

You definitely did an awesome job for a one week build, nice and clean..

I'm glad your liking the chassis and congrats again on the WIN!! Your one hell of a driver Kolby.. "thumbsup"

Looks great kolby with the new body! Thanks brian for letting me put the curse on it before you gave it to him."thumbsup"

Good looking chassis! Are those 4" shocks?
They are indeed

Man I didn't even see that you were running that there. Great driving.

I'm getting ready to put the skooter on my berg also. And retire my old chassis before it was the skeeter."thumbsup"

Thanks! I was suprised... 1stockliberty took 8th with another one of these Skooters...They definately held their own.

The narrow setup works well, are you going with the outboarded links?

Lookin good. Nice job at AWCC. Are your beadlocks missing screws or are they just stainless and I can't see them?

 My attempt at the light weight fad ..

Kidding... I am in the process of changing up the foam combo-pure lazyness really!:-P

Looking good Kolby and congrats on your WCC finish. I usually catch hell for only running half hardware in my wheels but it looks like a real man only needs three screws per ring:mrgreen: Can't wait for the rocks down your way cool off...

Man this thing looks great! "thumbsup" John does nice work. Congrats on it's maiden voyage results, nice work! "thumbsup"
