Finally - a 1/10 trophy truck built in the axial yeti

where in the hell did you find a complete set of the proline wheels? everywhere I look only has pairs of every single design in the right offsets. cannot find a matching set of slash front and scte offset wheels anywhere.. :(

Proline Slash protrac wheels kit has the same offset as scte. They even have the f11 Prolibe beadloc matching front and back.

can you take some measurements for me?

the width front and rear outside edge of the sct tires

and the actual width front and rear of the fenders of the new sct body and of the slash. I have a new sct body here I want to compare it to to see if ill be able to use it.

thanks!

Inner Wheel to inner wheel is ~200mm front and back, you can find the full detail in the first build video. http://youtu.be/u6AR_LteUd8

what about the body? I have a slash Dakar body that seems much narrower than other sct bodies

I don't have my RC with me this weekend. But that Dakar body fits a regular slash 2wd fine so it will fit with the yeti provided that you are using Scte/protrac wheel for the front.

Hey Joe,

Been following this thread from day 1. Just picked up a Yeti kit & have the Wraith & Twin Hammers suspension bits coming.

My question is on the drive shaft. I watched all your videos but wasn't sure about this part. Do the parts for a shorter length come with the Yeti or was there some modification needed?

Thanks!

Both kit and RTR come with the shorten drive shafts as spare/extra parts since they are on the same parts tree. :)

My short wheelbase yeti uses a junfac scx10 driveshaft for the rear. the supershafty exclusive 3.4" shaft will also work with the twin hammers trailing arms

It using for an update. I am retuning front suspension geometry fr long travel and turning this into a 2wd trophy truck for this weekend's run. We see how it goes:(

It is about time to see the latest update and beach bashing video. Enjoy
