Everett's SuDu Mod 3D

Hey Guys

I`m brand new to the forum, so forgive me if i might ask stupid questions at first. Looking to get into rock/comp crawling (though it seems to have died off in the last few years and is now pretty much unheard of here in the UK these days)
I chose to respond to this particular post A. because it`s recent and B. it features some kit i want to know about. Firstly i`m well read up on all the kit and how to build a crawler and the electronics etc etc. What i`ve noticed since starting to research this recently is that all the good kit (like MOA axles) seems to be pretty much sold out world wide......how is this the case??????? Where did you get your bully axles Everett????? Pretty much the only thing i can find (in this solar system at least) are Hot Racing AX10 "on board power" Axles (why they can`t just call them MOA i don`t know, i`d have found them alot sooner) and this is fine Hot Racing makes damn good looking kit and all metal MOA`s of any description seem to be the things i`m after but honestly what gives??? Berg GONE XR10 GONE Losi MOA GONE Bully`s seem only sporadically available at best!!!!! The rest of pretty much everything seems quite widely available scattered about the interweb so once i`ve snatched some axles i`m good to go. Any pointers for finding parts, particularly MOA please let me know guys. And Everett, that`s a totally Boss looking set up (y)

You should check the stickies at the top of each the Berg, Bully and XR10 section.

Erik is right! Look under the Berg Bible, Bully Bible, and XR10 Bible threads at the top of each forum section in the stickies. You will find all the info you want and then some. "thumbsup"

Hey guys thanks yeah.......a few key links and all is revealed! A wallet sapping array of lovely parts Thanks "thumbsup"

Quote:"Got a few other parts from Shapeways as well for this build... Got some 3D printed rear lockouts" .

The lockouts look nice, but I could not find them in Shapeways.
Any possibillity of sharing your source (sourcefile) with us? Or ordering?

Waiting for Sudu Mod 3D chassis................................
So meanwhile doing some shopping in (mostly European stores, with limited result).

Well Hans... Just wait a bit longer then. I have Everett his lockouts also.. Have to check if I can get them for you..

how'd you get it down to 4 lbs. did you do any lightening to the axles?

Its a mixture of 3D printed parts, CF, Ti and aluminum hardware. Every little thing adds up when your going for a light weight rig. Its an impressive build for sure.

Late respone but like yoda said it's mostly just the mixture of all the 3D printed parts, Carbon Fiber, and Titanium... Makes for an all around very light truck... No lightening to the axles at all..
