Everett's SuDu Mod 3D

Very neat chassis design, amazing how things lay out with it. Is the much of a weight gain with all what seems might be extra bracing and whatnot? Sorry if I miss that info..

Comp crawling seems like so much fun! 8)

Even with all that bracing it is lighter than the OG SuDu Pro "thumbsup"

Your Build is coming out Nice, I really like the red Hardware. What weight oil did you use in your shocks set up Front & Rear ? Thanks

I haven't put any oil in the shocks yet but I'm going to do something around 40-45 wt to start with...

Like Mike said it is lighter then the old SuDu Pro which was I think around 60g I could be mistaken but the new one is 42g so considerably lighter....

Yes the comp crawling is lots of fun.... Maybe time for you to build a new rig ;-)

The cage design with all the al insert is very good design, especially the skid, answered all the wish list of the Pro rig skid.

Do you think the 3d printed wheel outer piece can be make counter sunk to minimise hang up? Or inverted outer with inner, so it screw from inner piece. to give a clean look and also less hang up.

I agree I love the angled lower link mounts and there's no screws on the bottom to hang up on and it all makes for a very clean piece...

Yes that could easily be done... If you put the screws from the backside though you'd need fairly long screws...

Long screw you meant, yeah make sense.

You've got the best skins I've seen on that chassis!
It's such a cool design that's a shame to cover it...

Took it out for the first run yesterday... I have to say this thing is crazy... The breakover is really crazy on it... Definitely a big improvement over the OG SuDu Pro... It's pulling lines that I didn't even think of doing with the XR...

I'll get some video soon of it...

It does look cool with the clear skins, to see all the sweet 3D stuff. "thumbsup"

I agree the clear looks cool but I have to say this looks even better...

Thanks guys!

Took it out and drove it today along with the Sporty... It's working great! Have a few things that I need to work on with it but so far I'm loving how it's running...
