Hi guys,
I would like to introduce mine rally car builds too, and because I don't see any TA01/TA02 at first 3 pages at the moment, I'll start with my Tamiya TA02 rally :).
Because there is really bad steering in original TA02, I rebuilded it like guys are doing for XV01, with use of blue alu Yeah Racing knuckle arms. I have to think about battery holder in future, chassis is done for using short LiPo, which I try to put as forward as possible to be able to at least trying to hit 50:50 weight ratio.
Because I think, that TA02 has really strange suspension, I tryed to make it better at least by prolonging upper camber links and put them higher, because in original position they are really low and short, so car rolling is not good (car doesn't roll at all, so weight trasfer is bad). And because front shock tower is mounted originally with vertically oriented screws, I had to mount it with help of 6x6mm alu block. What do you think guys, is there anything you'd change? 8)
