Shock oil is something that I have tuned with. I know I will back into these shocks after some tuning trail runs, but experience is tell me to start with 45w in all four with the stock springs.
Before adding oil, make sure that you have applied grease to the two rubber washers at the bottom of the shock. The OG himself, Brad "Bender" Dumont taught me this and I never forget it. I contribute this to why my shocks don't leak.
Expirementing with rod ends helps fine tuning the placement of the shock.
Some drivers add just enough oil to lube the shock shaft, I fill and burp mine. Does this help? I drive better when knowing that there is oil in my shocks, so yes, it helps me. Depending on the weight of my truck, depends on the shock oil weight I use.
Scale shocks are smaller and need slower stroke speed to expel unwanted air bubbles. S/O to
SoCrawl.com , Southern Ontario RC Crawlers for the shirt. I love getting cool stuff from supporters. Thank You.
To help speed things up, gather all the parts like Scale Freak did in this video.

I spent 45mins looking for parts, ate some homemade Kale chips, and lost a pot? I found the parts still on the parts tree, imagine that.
I forgot I went pee and "WOW" I found the pot. When multi-tasking goes wrong.
