Hey guys, new to the forum, picked up a deadbolt about a year ago, and just picked up a gladiator and have been having a blast upgrading them.

The deadbolt

Eco power servo
Hot racing double barrel shocks (unsprung/ relocated)
Hot racing 4 link front conversion/ high clearance front + rear links
NXT brass beadlocks
LGR tires
+5mm brass wheel weights

With the amount of weight at the wheels it definitely is time to upgrade the motor!

Double barrel shocks (unsprung/ relocated)
RC4wd Goodyear MT/R’s
Beadlocks (don’t remember the brand)
+5mm brass wheel weights
Eco power servo
Brass links/ front 4 link conversion and steering links on the way!

Both of these rigs are super fun in their own ways, until I added the brass wheels and LGR tires, I was actually having more fun with the gladiator! But now that I’ve upgraded wheels and tires on the deadbolt, this thing wants to crawl over everything! Plenty of weight down low, removed the foam inserts, the tire fold just makes them so sticky!!

The gladiator is a blast though, thinking about removing the bed and creating some sort of custom bed cage/ shock mount to help with the approach angle.
