The "hull" is receiving a 26mm jet drive i picked up on aliexpress.. I figured <$20 for a 540 motor jet drive should be strong enough to propel this at a moderate speed after entering the water. The hull will be completely sealed "i hope " I also have to 3d print an extension for the gap in the tube, as well as patch up the hack job I did during an earlier iteration of a "no suspension" suspension design............................... that didn't work out.

Well, here you see the whole suspension:
Links, "shocks" and springs, all included. Only thing missing is an actual skid plate (to be 3d printed) to mount the transmission to, and then the sealed pan to the skid. It's a design that i saw somewhere many moons ago and have always wanted to give it a try.

The skid will mount via 4 of these m3 rubber isolated thingimabobbers. The whole thing will be riding a bit higher than this, as now it is just resting on the transmission/3mm rod

Not set on tires yet, however I'm trying to use up some of the old stuff i have. These are some og rc4wd buggers without foams atm. Wheels are some "vintage" plastic losi beadlocks, for weight savings, or I also have some 1.9 plastic maximizer beadlocks. I may try my hand at designing my own "no foams" haha, well, I went to school for it al least. May as well use it before i lose it right? "Skill"
