Just wanted to show you all my creeper. I am using the Integy 2.2 cage. Please let me know what you think or any mods I can do to improve.

Stats:
12.5" WB
Integy MSR10 shocks (med springs)
RC4WD crawler tranny
Turnigy 959MG alloy steering servo 200oz torque (http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=12451) Great servo for the price
Stock rims with Rovers
Integy HD universals (AX10)

Unfortunately I cant get any crawling pics as we have about 3 feet of snow.

a little heli pack or airplane pack are good thats what me and my dad run but i dont think you comp that so you can get somthing bigger then the really small comp packs for longer run time
and you might want to take out the small bend in the rear links for more clearance

I think your Creeper is real eye candy for sure! That thing just screams "Rock Crawler"!!

I might suggest for cosmetic reasons only, since your snow bound at the moment, that the RED links would be good candidates for the "greased lightning" anodize stripping method. It is a no scrape, no scrub method that works quickly and like a charm. That would at least get them to a neutral alloy color that doesn't clash with the really nice blue and yellow theme ya have going on up top.

Then maybe, if ya really care about such things, a colored poly coated shrink type tube...in Black yellow or blue? Easy enough to replace as they wear. Or re-anodizing them in similar colors.

I never bother with that sort of thing myself, but I never had my crawler looking that nice!

I might also take time to organize and hide the wires inside the cab for a cleaner appearance.

And I can only agree 100% with the battery suggestion already stated.

I am hardly one to give build advice, so I won't, I'll just say I cannot wait to see some vid or action pictures and hopefully some feedback on how this beast works once ya get it on the rocks!"thumbsup"

Hey just as you were posting I was actually planning to pick up some drano or lightening grease to de-anodize my links..

Currently they are sitting in drano. I will post a new pic when its all back together and looking better than before.

Also, I dont know why but the pics were taken before I finalized my wiring setup. Its a bit cleaner now :)

I was also planning on making the original beadlock rings de-anodized also, but I can only find 3 of the 4 rings.. weird I know.. I looked everywhere.

hey man, how are you liking that servo? im planning on getting one for my creeper. the hitec 645 is getting beat up lol

I'am really starting to like the look of these tuber's , an I haven't even got my
stock creeper kit in yet , an already wanting a tuber .

how do lke the tranny? i have the same tuber but with the venom tranny . i really like these chassis for 26 bux

They sure do look sexy. I thought about getting one too! They remind me of the Gmade R1 with this chassis as far as appearancd goes. Very nice looking!!

A few guys have tried to make this chassis work..I too like the looks but it needs some mods to make it decent..there are only single shock mounting points front and rear per side...makes setting it up difficult...If I get one Ill be welding new shock tabs on then go for a KOH look...gotta have lights too...needs tabs or nuts added for body panels too.

Yah it does need some work. I like the look though besides no tabs for panels.
One of these days I am just going to make my own. I have brazing, welding, machining, CAD and SolidWorks experience so I could make my own but I no longer have any of the equipment anymore. Not even a crappy butane torch for sodering pipes when I replummed my house 2yrs ago. I had to barrow my step dads. Though I thought of using my Bros MIG for a chassis or possibly borrow my step dads torch and torch weld it.
