This is a brand new Creeper build but done ready for the comps. The pic shows a stock creeper "green" on the left and the modded creeper"red" on the right. The rear tires are butted up at nearly 90 degrees. The stock creeper green is hanging in the air up front and the modded red creeper is on the ground. The other pics show the setup and yes it is sitting there twisted up on it's own. It sets at around 86 degrees by itself. This setup is super smooth. 70 mm upper links but shimmed for perfect caster and pinion angles. The top battery tray is cut down to tie the tranny to the side plates and lock it all in solid. No need for a cross over bar up front with that done. Body has been trimmed alot to clear the crazy twist the creeper has now. I will finish her up with some new ellectic's and be ready to comp. I also had to change the link rod ends around to clear the rear shocks due to the travel. The rear link have been flipper to the front as well.

Sweet truck, what did you use for the chassis post across, where the upper shock mount, really like the batt tray cut down...."thumbsup"

Brugg

Yes Donald is right that is just an upper link with no shims so the shocks can slide just a bit during twist to keep them from binding on the upper links.

Nice rig...I did the same thing to my battery tray...Yours looks a lot cleaner than mine...Nice job."thumbsup"

+1 Thats way to much flex. It will be very unstable on the rocks. You might want to limit it to around 45 degrees.

Here is the funny part haters........ The mods are all found right here on this forum. Most of the creepers pics of everyones have the same setup as this one. This is no different from the crck stage 2 kit. So how could you say it is to much when it is the same rig the rest of you are running? Friggin hilarious!

Hey Jason who gives a shit, are you happy with it? I like it, to each his own. You may be going after flex...if you are competing with it, you will adjust it accordingly. Its all good, finish it and have fun."thumbsup"

Nice Creepers. Ive been wanting to order one for myself. I have found from my own experiance "mostly with my Wheely King" that when having that much articulation. The truck would rollover when it reached about 60*-70*. The spring on the low axle would unload and roll me over. I think some of these other guys are trying to help you. I had to do it myself to learn it. Even after being told. So I say try it. It will teach you the critical points of the truck and how far you can take it.

The green one will outcrawl the red one in real world situations ;-) but having a ton of flex does look cool:)

EDIT: See even I tried for the most flex I could get back in the day:oops::D Don't worry, you'll figure it out 8)
