[Nova's Ark]

The 2.2 blue Jeep is custom built. The chassis is mig welded 3/16" steel tube and was made by RC Crawler Chassis Extraordinaire "DMG" or Death Metal Garage created by Jerry Justice. The chassis was then powder coated blue. It uses an upgraded Axial transmission under the hood with a Dinky RC delrin Split skid that uses Axial transmission gears as a transfer case, resulting in double gear down. Axle are made possible by Vanquish Products. The front is a V2 AR60 housing, the rear axle is a licensed Currie Enterprises "Rock Jock" that is centered. It uses a VP transmission case, front axle c's and steering knuckles, and VP titanium links. The jeep uses a Castle Creation MMP 1 Cell ESC with Tekin Racing Pro4 Motor running off 4S lipo battery. MIP driveshafts. I haven't created a build thread for the blue jeep, so I don't have anything to link you to on it's build up. The jeep is using Crawler Innovations 1.50" Width 6 Bolt Wheels CWR-3004 front & rear with VP 725 SLW hubs, 6.0" Double Deuce Comp Cut Foams; CWR-1025 front; CWR-1026 rear; no tuning rings, Tires are cut JConcepts Scorpios.

Crawler Innovations acquired the Aqua Craft Cajun Commander Air Boat from Szczerba Built along with a custom built trailer for the boat. The trailer didn't make it into the video, but there are pictures of it and it's build up in the link below;

This is the last of the footage from the camcorder before it rolled into the water and broke. This short footage is from winter 2015. The boat is an Aqua Craft Cajun Commander. Upgrades include a Castle Creations Electronic Speed Control, 3S Lipo Battery, waterproof Hitec Servo and Spektrum TX & RX.

The water crosser has several other videos on the channel, but those are the main ones in regards to the original build design. The new build design is lighter in over all weight, uses wider axles, and has a longer wheel base than the first design.

This Super Class RC Rock Crawler has quite a history. It was driven by Rowdy Racing at the 2014 USRCCA World Finals. This Super took a bad fall into the Atlantic Ocean at that event and was shelved until Crawler Innovations took possession of it back in December 2014. It needed all new electronics, plus some new replacement parts.

Build time is always a tough commodity and sadly it took a little over one year & 6 months before I finally got it running. New custom made titanium upper links for the front and rear were made. Installed electronics include:

Tekin Pro 45T Motors x2
Hitec 7980 steering servos x2
Castle Creations Side Winder Micro ESC's x2 custom smashed together
Castle Creations 10amp BEC's x2 (1 for each servo, one esc powers the RX and both esc's)
Deans Micro Plugs
Futaba RX

The first part of this video is a time lapse of it being wired up. Once completed the video shifts to the Super Juice being test driven for the first time. The last segment was filmed at a local park once the new skins were installed. Tires are hand made cut n shut tires by Crawler Innovations. Foams are CI Super Nova foams, part # CWR-4004 front and CWR-4005 rear.

Crawler Innovations attended the 2016 King of the Hammers earlier this year at Johnson Valley, California. The first few clips in the video were taken on Thursday inside Hammertown. The last clip is from the actual race on Friday. Axial Racing was set up inside Hammertown with a rc course and semi trailer with rc items for sale. Crawler Innovations had a great time at KOH 2016. Mega Run 2016 was put on by the DFW Chapter of TX4WD and was held back in March at Barnwell Mountain Recreational Area in Gilmer, Texas. Crawler Innovations attended the event and Saturday this footage was captured as one of the competitors rolling his Jeep JK Rubicon. No one was hurt in the incident.

The Meteor Crater rest stop is located in Arizona along Interstate 40. Crawler Innovations stopped on the return trip to Texas from King of the Hammers 2016 to rest and play on the rocks. Gavin drove and filmed this video. The truck runs on 4S Lipo battery and is geared down using Crawler Innovations extended transmission outputs to move the drive shaft away from the spur gear. Tekin Racing ROC 412 motor in the 2300KV, Castle Creations 1 cell esc, Castle BEC, Hitec servo, Axial Racing based axles and transmission with Vanquish Products aluminum upgrades. The tires are 1.9 Pitbull rock beasts original version, with Crawler Innovations 4.50 Lil Nova Comp Cut Foams, CWR-2025 front w/ medium outer, CWR-2026 rear w/ firm outer.

Comp Crawlers are a special breed. They are built and designed to challenge the status quo, fight gravity, and put a smile on the face of the driver and spectator alike. Scale Rock Crawlers cannot perform in the same way as comp crawlers, and because of that, competition rc rock crawlers will never die.

This video will demonstrate how to change the foam insert in a tire that has already been CA glued to the rim. This method is much faster and Crawler Innovations has been using it for years to swap out foams in many of the Axial Racing 1.9 Ready To Run Rock Crawlers. In this video, I will be cutting a Proline Tire that has been CA Glued to a Traxxas Jato/Rustler/Stampede 2.8" rim. You will need a pair of curved lexan body scissors, some patience, and a quality CA glue. Thank you for watching.

This video features two Traxxas low center of gravity 2WD slash's racing around the backyard track of Crawler Innovations. The truck with the dark body and no stickers is driven by Eddie, the truck with the Associated body and stickers is driven by Gavin.

Both trucks are similar in set up, Gavin's has different gearing and slightly shorter tires though. Both trucks are running Castle Creation Sidewinder brushless systems. Both trucks are using 3S Lipo batteries. Eddie's truck is running the CWR-3011 Deuce's Wild Foams with the Hot Bodies Rodeo tires. Gavin's truck is running CWR-3010 Deuce's Wild Foams with Pro-Line Bad Land Tires on the rear with Axial r35 Falken Wild Peaks in front with narrowed CWR-3010.

A short video featuring the Crawler Innovations 1934 Ford 4x4 Truggy and the new Axial Racing SCX10-2 Jeep Cherokee XJ. The Ford is a custom built remote control rock crawler while the Cherokee is the kit version sold by Axial.

It was a very mild winter in East Texas this year. In years past our small pond has completely iced over, well it only partially did this year. Taking advantage of the rare opportunity, CI ran the Aqua Sport Cajun Commander RC Air Boat and the Axial Racing SCX10.2.

The air boat upgrades include a Castle Creations Electronic Speed Control, 3S Lipo Battery, waterproof Hitec Servo and Spektrum TX & RX. The trailer is #szczerbabuilt and a link to its construction is here: http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/non-cr...

The SCX10.2 is a kit version assembled by Gavin at CI. The truck is stock in this video, except for the upgrade of 1.9 Vanquish Products Method Race Wheel 105 in red with black rings. These are the newest version and have the wide 1" clamp ring cans. Tires are cut Pitbull Tires 1.9 Rock Beast in the standard height. Foams are Crawler Innovations Lil Nova Dual Stage Competition Cut; Soft outer front, Medium outer rear, Part # CWR-2024 & CWR-2025. The tires also have one set of Deuce's Wild 4.50 Tuning Disc's cut down to fit inside the rock beasts to add lateral width to the foam and support to the outside sidewall. Electronics include Castle Creation Mamba max One Cell ESC, Castle Creations BEC, Tekin 13.5 sensored brushless motor and Hitec Servo.

Crawler Innovations was the first to combine closed cell and open cell foam into one package with our Double Deuce and Lil’ Nova product lines. After we'd perfected those systems, we turned our attention towards the faster paced rock racer, heavy scalers, and basher genres. The Deuce's Wild Foam line was created. Using only the firm inner material, while focusing on the machined size and shape of the foam.

CWR-3017 was designed for use in the Traxxas Rustler, Stampede, & Jato line of rc vehicles. Many people use these vehicles with brushless motors and lipo batteries with top speed in mind. These foams fit tires such as the Proline Trencher and Badlands. These foams will fit many other brands of tires of similar height and width. This foam will fit tires ranging from 5.0" in height down to 4.60" in height.

These foams are much firmer than anything available on the market. They do not fold over under load whether it's high speed, heavy weight, or simply turning. These foams rely on a small air gap between the foam and tire. This loose area allows for the tire to obtain traction, while the foam supports the tire.

Approximate size: 4.50" Height x 2.50" Width (Remember that foam goes inside the tire and one must subtract lug and carcass thickness, plus any reinforcing from the overall tire height.)
