Crawler Innovations / Nova's Ark - Feedback Thread

I've bought multiple times from crawler innovation and even gotten tuning advice etc from Eddie. I've referred his company and services to multiple people who all told me thay would use his services again.

Thanks again Eddie!

Hey Eddie, I sent a PM and an email a few days ago regarding a torn outer foam that came out of the package damaged. I purchased them from A-main Hobbies and was wondering if there's any way I could get a replacement outer in the medium flavor. Please let me know.

Thank you,
Travis C.

Hi Travis. Sorry about the inconvenience of the tear. It's hard to say how it happened and whom may be at fault. Regardless, I'd like to send you a new pair. Could you please send me a picture of the foam and packaging if possible. I'm curious if it was damaged somehow after it left CI, or if it left CI torn.

Do you still frequent the Hobbytown in Concord on Clayton RD?

Is there much of a crawling scene there anymore?

Sorry about that Eddie, my wife must have deleted the email.

PM sent with pic, thank you!

Confirmed, the wife deleted it!

Probably not a typical application, but I recently built up a 2wd Traxxas Slash as a Baja Bug on 1.9" wheels. There is no way this project could have come together without Crawler Innovations' Dueces Wild single stage foams. I took it out for its first run today and even with a 7700kv motor revving away, the tires didn't balloon, nor did they roll under during high speed turns. Just what the doctor ordered!

Thanks for giving us so many options that we can dial our cars in for any application. I've been recommending your foams to everyone I run with, and I'll definitely be buying more in the future.

I got my first set of PRO foams in the mail, guess the brand

I even opted for comp cut ones, though there never been a comp here in Denmark, but i do take the trail wheeling pretty serious.

Back again with more praise! I ordered 4 pairs of 1.5" 6 bolt wheels last week and received a bonus set of closed cell tuning rings in the box with them. I mounted a set of Panther 2.2" paddles and razorbacks to one set, and my unused/take-off set of Ripsaws to the other set of wheels for bashin' around. The wheels passed the abuse test today with flying colors, the car had a few bad landings that made me cringe, flat landing from 30'+ off of dunes, but no carnage!

More and more I'm questioning why I run beadlocks at all? The Crawler Innovations 6 Bolt wheels are inexpensive, super tough, light weight, quick & easy to glue on, don't have hex's to strip, and they look good (Ultra/Robby Gordon replicas.) ...now if only they were made in SCT 2.2/3.0 too (hint hint) I'd buy 'em!

Thanks again!
