Hey everyone Jeff here

This forum on the yeti has me itching for a new RC. I started with the frog way back and have all kinds from nitro to the Baja 5t. I have a dewalt summit, lcg slash 4x4 and a brushless emaxx (will be sold to pay for the yeti). I've read all pages here on the yeti and love all the builds and info and know what will need upgrading right off and what can wait until it needs it unless the mod bug hits me lol. What I don't know about are these slw wheels I've never had anything with them. My question is there away to run other wheels with the regular 12mm hex like proline or are you stuck with this type of wheel not that it make a difference to me I was just wondering.

Thank for the great yeti builds and info

You can run any wheel/tire setup on the Yeti(i.e. same as scx10 or etc), the Hub setup on the Yeti is just adjustable if you want to get smaller or bigger hubs(VP type) later to increase/decrease track width.

So I would be able to say run my 2.8 badlands in the yeti. I'm just a basher I don't care to much for crawling I did have a honcho for a bit and didn't like it to much it just wasn't fast enough.

Once you switch to the 12mm hexes, you can run any wheel/tire combo you wish, that fit's a 12mm hex.

What is the benefit to using the type of wheel that comes with the yeti over using a wheel with the 12mm hex like an rpm revolver
