colorado springs weekly comps/trail runs?

I'm already seeing why he gave to my son though, to big for most stuff and battery only lasted 20min all three packs (both boys have the Maxstone and they out last the kids haha). But to a 5 year old it's awesome haha, he'd sleep with it if I'd let him.

That's good to know! I see that this thread doesn't get the traffic / posts that it used to. I'll be back in the Springs in June, can't wait to get out to Palmer Park and do some real crawling again.
 
My son finally got to test out his Casey Currie SCX-10 on Sunday and got to see how crappy the stock plastic links are, along with stock foams and battery in the stock location, just to name a few issues. ;-) I wanted him to test it in stock form and then do the modifications himself so he could see what each upgrade does. After we got back home we ordered up some aluminum links and new servo arm, and will start doing the normal mods to make this thing work better. Here are a few pics:
