COCO 1st Summer Series comp

Mark April 27 on your calendar as SOCO will have their first Summer Series comp on that day!
Just to wet your appetite .... This event is for the entire family and will include:
Bar-B-Q

2 classes: 2.2s & 1.9s

Courses: 2 long comp course for each class
1 Ultra 4
1 "King of the Hill"
1 Team Effort comp

Easy-going/laid back rules

All this for only a $3 entrance fee!

Location will be Palmer Park, P9.
Registration will begin at 8:30
Drivers meeting at 9:30
Comp will begin promptly at 10:00

To help us get an idea of how much food to bring, please respond here if you are going to make this event.

There will not be any scale points - this is not a SORRCA style event....this is a Trail Comp Class (TCC) style event and will be following TCC guildelines.

I think we are going to use spray paint this time since Palmer Park P9 has been tagged and is now a paint friendly area.

Asking for 2 volunteers to assist with portions of this event so it doesn't fall squarely on Marshall's shoulders. We need someone to man (or woman) the grill and someone to assist with registration/set up on the day of the event.

I assure you Dan was Joking If we have to use chalk, we will use sidewalk chalk that goes away in a couple days. 8)

Don't worry about our club defacing any public parks. We are always mindful of everything and everyone that we come across on our crawls. The spray paint reference was for p9. Last weekend some kids got to crawlers paradise and spray painted graffiti all over the comp rocks to the right. Which brings me to that subject. Socorccrawlers will offer a 100 dollar reward for any information that's leads to the arrest of the persons that committed that most senseless crime. (After the club gets done with them.)

This weeks soco family crawl will be at ute valley park Sunday at ten o'clock. We will have a little information for club members on the "soco summer series" we are planning for 2014.
