A new or used SCX10 based vehicle would be your best bet for a solid trail rig. If nobody locally here has one they want to part with, check craigslist, Ebay and the BST section on this forum. You may be able to find a decent used one that someone may want to trade for. Maybe you can put ad of your own up, looking to trade your crawler for a trail rig.

man that would be great. the losi is a heck of a crawler but not the greatest on a trail run or hike. but is is a great comp rig with the worm gear axles etc. the only mod done to it was weight in the tires. helped it a lot. so please let me know. it is like new! would love to get him an scx10 etc. that is what he really wants. thanks so much chris
