colorado springs weekly comps/trail runs?

Started the surface on the track last night. A lot of scrambling to do it with one person. So if anyone wants to come over Friday night ,drink a couple beers and help glue and spread sand it would be much appreciated. :)

Ok guys. Just got off the phone with the lead designer of the shirt company. After some cleaning tweaks to the design we have the test shirt being produced. Sorry it took longer than expected, but shirts are not cheap and I want them to come out nice and not blurred. If anyone wants a hoodie they are twenty dollars extra. So this is how it will start. First twenty members that sign up for soco will receive a limited founding member tshirt, four clear rig decals and a couple white soco stickers. And an invitation to be involved in the club events that will be scheduled for 2014 and special inner club raffles for cool prizes. There will be a one time registration fee of 25 dollars for the first season which includes the goodies. After the first twenty founding members this front design will change till December of this year when we will choose a new pocket logo and we will be adding sponsor logos to the design. So this will most likely to be the only time to get a clean soco shirt with no sponsorships. I will front up the cash to get the goodies and shirts for the first ten members after that the club coffer should be self sustained. So tomorrow at the red rock crawl I will be taking the first membership registrations. First meeting will be Saturday January the 18th 7pm at my house. We will be discussing up and coming planning of scaler events, ideas for fund raising events and plans for the epic journey this summer. So bring your ideas for a fun 2014.

Pm me if you don't know where I live. See u guys tomorrow. :).

Here is a link to the final designs of the shirts. http://www.ooshirts.com/designapp/sharing/1023218074

I will be doing the mass order of the shirts next week. It is a lot cheaper to order in bulk so have any extra orders ready ASAP for a better price. I can also order up pretty much anything with the soco logo on it for special orders. Dan I will give you a shout upon ordering them. Maybe we can get a military discount on top.

S W E E T .... shirts look great, GREAT Tony! "thumbsup"

Looking forward to seeing everyone in March when I get back to the Springs. Just finishing up this Rubicon build for my wife. I wanted something a little different so I went with a half cab (Scrambler like) setup, Paint is Tamiya Purple, but looks more Blue in pics. For electronics I used stuff that was new, but I already had it kicking around, a Castle Sidewinder 3 ESC, Trinity Speedgems 35t brushed motor, Savox SC1256TG servo and her Spektrum DX3C radio. Pretty much just waiting on a CC BEC to finish it off.

The ESC should be good with a brushed motor, I have'nt had any issues with these ESC's and they are waterproof right out of the box. I have Castle link so it's a snap to program it. Most of the time I run a small 3s pack with them.
