Got my Axial Wraith today.. Charged it up and ran it around my yard. 5 Minutes into a grin filled run,i lost a screw in the steering knuckle.:x But not all was lost,i found the screw and repaired it.. I do have a major problem with the cheap ass transmitter that it comes with. I get about twenty-five feet of range out of it and you have to hold pressure on the side of the trigger sometimes to get it to work, So it looks like im gonna invest in a better radio and some extra screws..Any other items i need to stock up on in my ( Oh S**t) tool box.??

So the first mod. i did on my wraith was to change out the plastic stock shocks. I had some old associate alum. shocks from back in the day of racing..Filled them with 5 wt. losi oil and cleaned them up...So a couple spacers on the top towers and some oversized linkage ends for the bottoms and Shazzam....a very nice change to the feel and performce of the suspension system.Also ordered up alum. steering knuckles,Hub carriers, steering link and a alum. servo horn all in red..Not gonna have another steering issue again...Gonna look Sic.. Still having radio issues with the stock axial system..lookin at the Traxxis TQ 2.4 GHz 4-ch. High output Radio w/link..hookin up a winch in the future and other cool goodies ( i.e. I-pod sound system { Godsmack while crawling anyone???}).. Soulo... ready when you are bro...!!

Ok, Now im thinking i have a little too much time on my hands..I have installed a mini stereo system in my wraith.Two-2" inch speakers,amp and I-pod hook up. It all fits very nice and snug within the frame and only added a couple ouces to the weight.A Ipod shuffle fits nicely between the back of the seats for easy access.The two speakers are mounted under the roof roll cage with small plastic covers on the under side of them, for protection from dirt and water spash..The ipod and amp are totally removable with a couple pulls of some heavy duty velcro.. Its fricken loud too..Cant wait to see the look on peeps faces when Godsmack is screamin in the hills and its this tiny little crawler in a world of its own...:lmao:

Sweet.... Go hit up the wraith forum and read the top stickies for all necessary upgrades. Mine has a Robinson racing gears (hardened steel) in the tranny, moved the battery up front and radio box in the back, aluminum lower links, aluminum steering linkage, all plastic bushings swapped for steel, Titus bead locks, super swampers, gmade transition shocks, flipped lower shock mounts, exo light bar, savox 1256 titanium gear servo (your servo is gonna sh*t on you next I promise), felsenfast no slop lockers in the diff.

Next on the list, vanquish front axle, Tekin pro4 motor, castle mmp speedo, swap 48p spur and pinion for 32p.

Wow...i need to stare at ur rig for awhile for some ideas..thanks for the heads up on the servo. got a couple old ones ill burn up before getting a nice one..so i hooked up an ipod mini stereo system up on my wraith..nice and compact for screwin around times..loading my shuffle now..Went ahead and ordered the traxx radio..this one took a crap,should be here before next weekend along with the steering upgrades.so i should be ready for a run this coming weekend..

Radio controller finally took a crap..should get my new one Friday..Saturday or Sunday would work for me if ya want to get together..P.S. got tunes hooked up on my crawler..loading my shuffle with some good rock n roll to listen too while crawling....

Shazzam..an "Integy" front end..only took a couple hours...parts fit together very nice..clean machine work...will see how well it performs..$62.00 bucks for set up..
