HOA are crap... where my father lives in in peoria AZ. its ok to have 6 broken down parted out cars in the driveway, road and front lawn (neighbors) but my father has been ticketed for having his 39' fifth wheel parked on the side of his house for 48 hours while getting ready for a nascar weekend... then got ticketed again for having his 42' glastron in the driveway the following weekend...

he wanted to re-roof his house. and they told him he couldnt use the shingles that he has already bought and had on site because they were not the chossen colors o the community.

so ya HOA = crap

That's good to hear. I will never purchase a house with an HOA...

For real....I just want to live in my house, mow my yard when I want to, leave my garage can by the road as long as i want, etc. Don't want anyone to say what I can and cannot do (within the law) at my house.

I dont know if you guys read this to see what he did for that medal.

BTW, I dont think he is a Col. maybe that was dressed up for the article, but according to his record he retired a Second Lieutenant.
