***Chaotic Crawlers Titanium XR10 links (simple how to)***

Sure, be glad to. I'll email them to you later today. Thanks for your interest.

Darth Smoke and Viper people
So did the Co xr Ti links - upper and lower work?
What rod ends should i use and do I need to cut them
also which hole in the viper did you attach the lower links to
I'm think of getting the full set but not sure - how it will fit on the viper
thanks

Here you go, I hope this helps.

My XR is coming together nicely, and right now I'm mocking up pieces for test fitting purposes only. I can't find my camera right now, so please forgive the crappy iPhone pics.

Here is my setup that I'm trying out:

Lower links are Chaotic Crawlers ti for the BJv4 front and rear. Rod ends are Revo. Stock axle mount location, and stock Viper chassis mount location.

Upper links are Lunsford 3/16 ti straight. Front is 95mm length with Revo ends on both ends, and rears are 100mm length with Revo ends on one end and uncut Jato at the other end. Front and rear are mounted to the center chassis hole, and the upper most hole on the Vanquish link mounts.

My wheelbase compressed is just a hair under 12.5". It's so close, it may as well be dead on.

Just saw your post edit... I didn't click your links, but yeah.... Those are the ones. You could easily get away with 105mm rear upper links, but you'd have to trim down the jato ends or your rear axle would be clocked all wonky. 110mm rear upper links might work with Revo ends on both ends, but I haven't tried it out, so I can't say for sure if it'll work.

We are using revo ends. If it comes up short you can trim down jato ends.

If your using them for a bj chassis, all you need is revo's. "thumbsup"

damn that progressive is sexy
and I just order the full set (xr10 version) for the xr10
hmmmm
may think of trading it in for the progressive
any advantage or disadvantage between xr10 versus progressive

Thanks...I have more jato ends then revo. When I was at the LHS, I just grabbed (payed) and took off. Didn't even look for the revo ends. Guess I'll be making a trip back there soon.

And to everyone else thanks with the info "thumbsup"

What about for the stock chassis? Revos all round?

The XR10 Chassis Links are designed to use the Stock Axial Rod ends after modifying them to accept 4mm. However I have seen them installed with Revo Rod ends. You would just need to double check the wheel base.

Okay thanks. I just heard the Revo rod ends are almost indestructible.
