BVRC's CRC XV-01

Rebuilt my motor. I've been running this Holmes motor for a while and I'm happy with it.

The first race is tomorrow... I did what I could to get the car fresh.

new belt
new holmes 3300kv sensored WP motor (something isn't right with the motor I rebuilt... It's always nice to have a spare!)
new savox 1257 servo (replacing the original servo)

How much did everything cost you? I mean, you have like 5 body shell on that table, and you also got your self tons of hop up parts/upgrade.

So do you do a complete disassemble and clean each time it gets that dirty (eg post 192-193)? What do you clean it with? Just water?

If it's dirty enough, I do tear it apart. Sometimes though I just pull the electronics, take some of the chassis apart, then give it a bath and dry in front of the fireplace. I often use a spray can of wd40. Usually before events (a couple days before) I lube all the ball ends/hinges/etc with banana lube (nothing special, just what I have around). In the winter months I tend to rebuild a lot more than in the summer.
