I will be in Las Vegas, NV next month and wanting to find some good RC stores specifically for rock crawling and rock racing. Any recommendations?

The only 'real' LHS in the Vegas area is Friendly Hobbies (two locations - Las Vegas & Henderson). That's where I go whenever I'm "in town" (as I am right now, for Scale Nats).

Friendly doesn't have much crawler specific stuff. At least the one in Henderson doesn't. Our other 3 closed (hobby people, hobby town, SRD LV). Those all had a little more, but SRD was really crawler oriented. It was a husband/wife operation and the husband (Rob) recently passed away. I believe she is still selling stuff and making custom license plates etc from home in Pahrump, but the store front is gone.

Oh, man - that's a shame...

I've visited the website for SRD LV many a time, always meant to order something.

EDIT: I see the site is still up, so it's not too late!

Looks like they are selling some of his custom builds, too.

I made one final stop there (my third dieing this Vegas trip), before heading back to the SF Bay Area...although, to not for anything crawler-related (of which my first two stops were) - I bought a Blade 230 S Smart heli.

They might not be "crawler specific"...but, they do carry a large selection, and a wide variety (including 3D printers). Just know that, while the Vegas location is fairly large, and has a lot of walking room, the Henderson location is much smaller, and somewhat "cramped"...but, both locations have friendly people.
