Hello all, I've been interested in Scale r/c for a long time but only recently bought my first one.
I picked up an almost new but USED 1.9 Wraith Previous owner already robbed the CRC front bumper and installed an original wraith style bumper with extensions into the ends of the frame rails and, it really puts some extra stress on the already weak rails.
I want to get some support up there before mine does break the rail.

I see there are several braces available from companies such as SSD, BP Custom and Reefs RC and I would like some opinions on which is the best one

Thanks In advance ,Jon

The SSD braces are the only ones that I would buy. All the other braces I've seen just brace the weak part of the tube to another part of the same tube while the SSD braces spread the support to multiple chassis tubes. All of the flat plate type braces are less than impressive to me.

They were definitely on the top of my list. the only thing I was wondering about with the BP one is the pan hard bar mount? Is it not worth the extra beef there?
I do like the SSD that triangulates against the upright.

I went with the SSD Braces because they looked like the best design. I have no actual proof that the other brands are weaker, but I've beat the crap out of my front bumper with SSD Braces installed and have no breakages or cracks yet.
